Bradenton man arrested for giving people wedgies

Bradenton, Florida - An 18-year-old man was arrested for allegedly giving wedgies to people outside of a movie theater.

Charles Ross says he started posting music videos on YouTube about a year ago. Then music turned into pranks. Ross says he uses a hidden camera and sometimes has help from friends.

Suspects to man: strip or get cut

Bradenton, Florida -- A man found naked wandering alongside a Manatee County road says he was beaten and stripped of all his clothes after being held at knifepoint.

Deputies say 43-year-old Ramiro Morales was in a car with three acquaintances when the two men and one woman turned on him, demanding he give up all his money and clothes or else they'd cut him.

Report: Woman arrested after masturbating in Starbucks

Bradenton, Florida -- A woman enjoying herself a little too much at a Manatee County Starbucks was arrested on drug charges Thursday.

The Smoking Gun reports police were called to a Bradenton Starbucks because staff saw a woman masturbating in their lobby.

Horse manure on Manatee beach angers residents

BRADENTON, Florida (AP) - Manatee County officials say they will begin fining horseback riders who aren't picking up their animals' waste along a popular beach.

The Bradenton Herald reports that some riders along the Palma Sola Causeway have upset neighbors and beachgoers because the horses are leaving behind unsightly manure on the sand.

Wanted flasher hits preserve four times in September

Bradenton, Florida -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying a man who has exposed himself at least four times in Robinson Preserve back in September.

Detectives say the incidents occurred between Sept. 7 and 27 and are described below:

Friday, Sept. 7 at 9:45 a.m.
A woman was riding a bicycle when the man, standing near the bridge, turned toward her and exposed himself. 

Friday, Sept. 7 at 10:39 a.m.
The man was on a bicycle exposed himself to a woman.

Dozing drunk woman leads police on chase

Bradenton, Florida -- It wasn't until police woke a woman dozing off at a red light that she realized she was drifting into the intersection. Instead of stopping, she took off, and led police on a chase until she crashed into a telephone pole.

The Manatee Sheriff's Office says deputies at the red light on 14th Street and Cortez Road saw Dede Clark's Chevy truck slowly drift into the intersection. Once she started impeding traffic heading east on Cortez Road, one of them pulled up behind her and turned on his lights.

Promise of sex ends with robbery

Bradenton, Florida -- Manatee County deputies are searching for five people who robbed a man after he made a deal for sex at a Bradenton home Friday morning.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Erik Platero met a woman at the Amscot in the 3600 block of 1st Street East and after they made a deal for sex, they headed to a home in the 500 block of 28th Avenue West. When they got there, there were two men standing in the driveway.
