Bradenton, Fl. - Do you want to sing the National Anthem in front of 7,000 people? You'll have the chance at the upcoming auditions for the Pittsburgh Pirates Spring Training games!

Auditions are open to anyone interested in singing The Star Spangled Banner before a Pirates Spring Training game. Auditions will be a cappella and must be no longer than two minutes in length. Auditions will take palce February 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at McKechnie Field.

Coastal Orthopedics is donating thousands of dollars worth of sideline concussion testing tools to schools and youth football and baseball leagues in Bradenton that its doctor says can identify concussions in a matter of minutes.

Bradenton, Fl. - The Pittsburgh Pirates are already looking ahead to the 2014 Spring Training season and have released the schedule and tickets pricing for games at McKechnie Field. 

The 29-game Florida schedule has 15 home games and an intrasquad "Black and Gold" game on Tuesday, February 26.

The Pirates open the 2014 Grapefruit League season at home agains the New York Yankees on Wednesday, February 26 at 1:05 p.m.
