Pit Bull mix dogs in need of loving homes

Manatee Co.,FL-- Manatee County Animal Services announced Friday that they have several Pit Bull mis dogs available for adoption after they seized them from an abusive environment back in September.

Their previous owners were charged with Animal Cruelty, and they now ask for the public’s help in placing these dogs into loving homes.

Dogs seized in animal cruelty case need homes

Bradenton, Florida -- Manatee County Animal Services has seized several Pit Bull mix dogs from a home in Bradenton and are looking for homes for the dogs.

The dogs were rescued on Sept. 19 and the owners are reportedly being charged with animal cruelty. After a hearing, custody of the dogs was remanded to animal services.

The shelter is asking for the public's help placing the dogs in loving homes.

Does Tricks, Loves Treats special adoption event Saturday

 

Bradenton, Florida -- It is Trick-or-Treat time and Manatee County Animal Services hopes people will attend their special adoption event, Does Tricks, Loves Treats to give a dog or cat the ultimate treat by adopting them.

The event will be held at both the Bradenton downtown and Palmetto animal services facilities on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Animal Services seeks volunteers for adoption event

 

Bradenton, Florida -- Animal lovers who want to help Manatee Animal Services are encouraged to volunteer for the  “Does Tricks Loves Treats” adoption event set for Oct. 27.

“Adoption is one of our key programs in the No Kill plan,” said Kris Weiskopf, Animal Services chief. “We need volunteers who want to become a member of the no-kill community.”

McKechnie Field goes to the dogs

Bradenton, Florida -- The Bradenton Marauders will host "Bark in the Park" Friday night at McKechnie Field.

Man's best friend is allowed to attend the game for $2.

All dogs must stay on a leash at all times and must be current on vaccinations.

A similar promotion is scheduled for Aug. 17.
