Celebrate Snooty's 65th Birthday at South Florida Museum

Bradenton, Florida -- The South Florida Museum is celebrating Snooty's 65th birthday this weekend! He's an extra-special manatee who is setting records every day for how long manatees live.

The Birthday Bash this Saturday will have lots of activities including food, children's games and activities, entertainment and wildlife awareness opportunities.  Visitors can learn about environmental preservation and interact with wildlife and arts organizations.

There will also be presentations and entertainment from the Garbage Men band, Sarasota Jungle Gardes and Pure Dancers. There will be a misting station and water slide so you can beat the heat too!

The Mote Mobile Exhibit from Mote Marine Laboratory will also be on site as well as Mosaic Express educational experience and a Fossil Dig pit.

The festival is located outside of the South Florida Museum on 10th Stree West between 3rd Ave West and Barcarotta Blvd. from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

If you share the same 1948 birth year as Snooty and visit the museum in the month of July, you'll be given FREE admission to the museum, planetarium and aquarium.
