Fire Rescue: Neighbor saves woman from house fire

Bradenton, Florida -- A woman was airlifted to the hospital after a fire broke out at a home in Eagle Village Monday.

Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue says emergency units arrived within four minutes of receiving the 911 call and when they got there, they found a burn victim outside the home in the 4700 block of 14th St. W.

Fire officials say the victim was reportedly pulled out by a neighbor. She was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the back porch area. Damages are estimated at $10,000. Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue and the State Fire Marshal's Office is still investigating the cause of the fire.

There's no word on the victim's condition.
