Judging begins in Lockheed Martin Manatee Regional Science and Engineering Fair

Bradenton, Florida -- Today, Jan. 24, more than 230 Manatee District middle and high school students will be judged on their innovative and informative science fair projects in the Lockheed Martin Manatee Regional Science and Engineering Fair.

The projects are on display during the Manatee County Fair in the Kendrick Auditorium where a team of 50 science professionals will judge the exhibits and interview the students.

The winners will be announced and honored at the Lockheed Martin Manatee Regional Science and Engineering Fair's Secondary Awards Ceremony on Jan. 31 in the Braden River High School auditorium.

Winners of the regional science fair will then advance to the State Science and Engineering Fair in Lakeland in March and two best of show winners will attend the International Science and Engineering fair in Phoenix, Arizona in May.

Good luck to all the students!
