Bradenton, Florida -- If you're in search of a family event for Easter weekend, your kids can hunt for eggs at the Trinity United Methodist Church.

The Easter Party will be held Saturday, March 30th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. There will be a pancake breakfast, an Easter story, an egg hunt, crafts and games.

The Easter Party is free. Tickets for the Pancake Breakfast are $5.00 presale and $6.00 at the door. Proceeds benefit Relay for Life.

The 3rd annual Easter Bonnet contest is a great way to show off your skills and creativity - plus you could win a 2-night stay at one of Anna Maria's Guest Houses on Pine Avenue.

First place in the children's contest wins a lunch party including ice cream sundaes with three of their friends at Sandbar Restaurant.

The contest takes place at 10:30 a.m. during the Easter Egg Roll on March 30th at 315 Pine Avenue.

Christine Davison, a graduate of the famed Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Clown School,is teaching character definition, make-up, costuming and performance techniques during the annual Clown Alley Program on March 9

Children and adults will learn the finer points of becoming a professional clown and will be invited to show off their new skills and ride on the All Children’s float in the Honda Grand Prix Illuminated Night Parade and the Santa Parade.

Bradenton, Florida -- Help the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Bradenton Marauders kick off the 2013 Spring Training season at the 4th annual Pirates Pep Rally!

Players and staff will be at the event to sign autographs. Pirates officials will speak on the main stage about the upcoming season.

Fans of all ages will have plenty to do including family games, face painting, prize giveaways, food and music.

The Pep Rally takes place Saturday, Feb. 16, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Old Main Street in downtown Bradenton.

Elementary school hosts All Pro Dad Breakfast Friday

Bradenton, Florida -- Ballard Elementary School in Bradenton is taking forthright steps to strengthen the bonds between fathers and their children. Earlier this school year, Ballard hosted a “Donuts for Dads” morning that was attended by almost 100 fathers and their students.

This Friday morning, beginning at 7 a.m. in the cafeteria at Ballard, the school will host its first All Pro Dad Day that will include a before school breakfast for fathers and their students.

Reminder!! Postal Service to collect toys at mailboxes December 1

Tampa, FL-- It seems early to start thinking of the holidays, but the Suncoast District of the U.S. Postal Service wants to inform its customers of their upcoming toy drive. 

10 News told you all about it earlier this month, but we want to make sure you give yourselves enough time to get out there and pick up a toy to donate.

The collection will take place on December 1, exactly two weeks from today!  The Postal Service will pick up the toys from customers who are able to leave them by their mailboxes, or in bins at the nearest post office.

4th Annual "Stuff the Bus" this weekend

Manatee Co., FL--  The 4th annual “Stuff the Bus” event begins at 9 a.m. today at all the Manatee County Publix Super Markets. 

Buses will be at the grocery stores to collect food for those in need through dusk today, and then tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. 

This initiative has been made possible by the Manatee School District in collaboration with Publix, Tropicana, FM radio stations 106.5 CTQ and 92.1 The Coast, and United Way of Manatee County.
