On Sunday, March 18, the Beach Bistro will proudly host the Beach Bistro's 15th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade on Anna Maria Island.

The parade is scheduled to start at 4 p.m., beginning at Eat Here on the corner of Marina and Gulf Drive and ending on North Palm Drive and 79th Street at roughly 5:30 p.m.

High school alumni to hold Smoke on the River

High school alumni to hold Smoke on the River

Palmetto, Fla. -- The Braden River High School FFA Alumni and Manatee County Cattlemen's Association will hold a Smoke on the River event on Saturday, Feb. 25.

Besides food, the event includes lawn tractor pulls, a classic car show, and diesel truck show.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Manatee County Fairgrounds.

Admission is $5.

Bradenton, FL -- On Saturday night, a party is planned for Lakewood Ranch Country Club that will benefit teenage girls.

The PACE Center for Girls will hold its Snowflake Ball, helping girls ages 12-18, who are at risk of not finishing school.

Princesses and ballerinas will greet the girls for autographs and pictures.

The event will also include dancing, dinner buffet, crafts, and auction.

Mermaids invade Manatee

Bradenton, FL -- Multiple venues will host separate family events on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, as celebrations about the mythical mermaid take hold at the South Florida Museum and Robinson Preserve, a site operated by Manatee County Natural Resources Department.
