Palmetto, Florida  -- Attendees to an annual music and entertainment fundraiser will get a very special treat! A Country Music Hall of Fame superstar will be performing at the Manatee School for the Arts this weekend.

Founder of Super Group ALABAMA, Jeff Cook, will perform at the 3rd annual Del Couch Music Education fundraiser on Saturday, May 4. Also taking the stage will be Rock n Roll icon Rick Derringer and 11-year-old Jake Castro who recently played at the Florida Strawberry Festival.

There will also be entertainment by the students! Colton Cason, Travor Bystrom, Sam Woolf, Michael Galvano, Taylor Zebracki, Matt Walden, Haydon Richau and Bands Northwest and Cordova will be performing. 

The Del Couch Music Education Foundation has a state of the art recording studio available to students. Money raised at the event will be used for a computer lab and software programs to teach music editing, recording and production.

The show starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Manatee School for the Arts at 700 Haben Blvd, in Palmetto. Tickets are $25.00 for adults and $20.00 for students with an ID. You can get tickets here: www.couchmusiceducationfoundation.org.
