Volunteers clean up The Children's Academy with United Way of Manatee County

Bradenton, Florida -- Armed with sledge hammers, crow bars, drills, shovels, rakes, gloves and a big heart, more than 40 engineers and others from EDWARDS Detection & Alarm descended on The Children's Academy to take care of several improvement needs.

The team tore out ceilings, recreated an arbor, built decorative fencing and so much more. The efforts helped the pre-school and daycare, which serves low income families, advance its plans to extend much needed services to a deserving, yet struggling sector of our community.
