The Longest Conga Line on Sand returns to Anna Maria Island

It's that time of year again...CONGA line time!

Independent recording artist Mike Sales will be hosting the 2nd Annual Longest Conga Line on Sand World Record Attempt on Saturday, April 7 from 11 a.m. – Noon.

Last year’s conga chain included more than 250 people. This year, Mike will be playing his newest single off the recently released Los Angeles Sessions album, “Girl in Blue" along with a few never-heard-before originals.

Sponsored by The Islander (voted Florida’s best community weekly by the Florida Press Association), all are welcome to participate in this fun, free, family event. Donations will be accepted for Moonracer, a no kill animal rescue.

Jump in and join the line as Mike Sales leads the group, guitar in hand, over the white-sand beaches of this breathtaking island.

Suggested Attire: Wear something BLUE! Blue bathing suits, shorts, T-shirts, sandals, hats, head bands – get creative.

When:  Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 11 a.m. - Noon

Where:  Bridge St. and Gulf Drive (the roundabout just North of Holmes Beach) on Anna Maria Island, FL

(Landmark: Directly behind the Moose Lodge)
